KEEP FIGHTING “MIEN TRUNG OI”

Our Central area is badly devastated by storms and floods every year. But this year, the situation seems to be worse with 11 provinces from Nghe An to Central Highlands have record floods and landslides.

Looking toward to the people of Central Vietnam who were suffering heavy damages these days, Nosco Shipyard – Vietnam wascalling all employees to contribute to the Towardss the Central” campaign to provide support for those people.

On October 30, 2020. an initial amount was sent to the charity fund of Tien Phong commune. The fund raising is in progress, we hope the monies will be delivered to the people in Central in time and help them overcome the consequences of natural disasters

On December 8, 2020, with the direction and cooperation of the Police Department (PD) of Quang Ninh province, Quang Yen town, Tien Phong commune, and the People’s Committee of Tien Phong commune, NOSCO Shipyard debuted its “Self-managed Worker Team to Prevent Crime” pursuant to Directive No. 03-CT/TTg dated December 1, 2011 of the Prime Minister and Directive No. 07/CT-BCA-V28 dated August 15, 2014 of the Ministry of Public Security, responding to the movement of all people to protect national security in the corporate environment.

Speaking at the ceremony, Ms. Nguyen Thi Lan Phuong – Deputy Head of PV05 Department, Quang Ninh PD, said that the model of Self-managed Worker Team to Prevent Crime of NOSCO Shipyard was established and organized professionally promising practical achievement. The representative of Quang Ninh PD also suggested polices of Quang Yen town to pay attention and coordinate closely with NOSCO Shipyard to organize training for the Team and establish an effective communication channel between local authorities and the enterprise. After all, the establishment and operation of the Self-managed Worker Team to Prevent Crime are to bring a safe and secure environment to directly serve the production and business activities of NOSCO Shipyard, Mr. Phan Anh Dong – Deputy Chief of Quang Yen Town Police emphasized at the ceremony.

On behalf of NOSCO Shipyard, Ms. Tran Thi Hong Nhung – Deputy General Director expressed her thanks to the local authorities for supporting and facilitating the business and commits to instruct the company’s departments to create favorable conditions for the team to operate stably and effectively.

So far, Quang Ninh province has established 4951 self-managed groups and 423 self-managed clusters in the province and the Self-managed Worker Team to Prevent Crime of NOSCO Shipyard is one of the 5 teams in the model of self-managed workers to prevent crime at Foreign Direct Invested enterprises that the government of Quang Ninh province was implementing. The parties expect that the model applied at NOSCO Shipyard will be practical and successful so that it can be replicated in other localities.
