Vietnam has seen another wave of COVID-19. This time, it is more aggressive with cases and deaths increased in number. However, in the worst circumstance, we see sympathy, sharing and consensus among Vietnamese people: people in the red zones stay at home for self-quarantine, local authorities of the safe zones send medical task forces and equipment to help the red zones, many philanthropists donate monies to purchase necessities and medical goods for doctors and nurses who are in the front line, etc. Nosco Shipyard is pleased to play a part in our community by contributing Covid-19 funds to Quang Yen’s Government where we headquartered. We hope this small contribution will bring more medical equipment, vaccine, food, water, etc. for our beloved people on the Vietnamese homeland. Join up and fight hard, we will win!
Our Central area is badly devastated by storms and floods every year. But this year, the situation seems to be worse with 11 provinces from Nghe An to Central Highlands have record floods and landslides.
Looking toward to the people of Central Vietnam who were suffering heavy damages these days, Nosco Shipyard – Vietnam wascalling all employees to contribute to the Towardss the Central” campaign to provide support for those people.
On October 30, 2020. an initial amount was sent to the charity fund of Tien Phong commune. The fund raising is in progress, we hope the monies will be delivered to the people in Central in time and help them overcome the consequences of natural disasters
Once again, spring is back in Nosco. For Vietnamese people, Tet is one of the most important times of the year. This is not only a time to rest after a year of hard work, but also a time for family together.
This year, this wonderful time was interrupted by the COVID-19 pandemic. Many of our employees were unable to return to their hometown to celebrate Tet with their family. To motivate the spirit, the Government of Quang Yen town gave many presents to our employees. We also donated many presents to poor families living in Tien Phong commune – where we headquartered. These presents are not much in value, but full of love and encouragement of us to the community.
Let’s have a happy and safe Tet together!
